Step 5g: Uploading your website with Dreamweaver's FTPYou are all finished with your site and now all that is left to do is upload your website to the Internet. To upload your website, click on the Connect button in Dreamweaver. This connects you to your ftp space on the Internet. Once you are connected you will see files on the right side of the site window and the Connect button will turn to a Disconnect button with a green light on it. Click on the index.html file and then click on the Put Button. This puts a copy of your index.html page on your web space. Your original copy still remains on your hard drive. A window will ask if you would like to include dependent files, say Yes. Now do the same with the about.html and contact.html page. Now go to your web address (http://www.mydomain.com) and view your Website. Congratulations, you have just made your first website! Your site should look and function like our demo site here.
